Fake DETC that offers college accreditation:

" - A web site called International DETC that recently emerged as part of an unaccredited entity called American Central University, is a fraudulent attempt to hijack the genuine DETC name and school list in order to advance the goals of a diploma mill. The diploma mill is probably operating out of Wyoming and/or Malaysia. DETC is taking legal action to have the fake web site removed." This is a warning issued by the Oregon Office of Degree Authorization.

Why Should I Choose an Accredited College?

HTML clipboardWhen it comes to employment opportunities, job candidates have better chances of being hired compared with another candidate with an unaccredited degree. If you are applying to a post-graduate university, most will only accept accredited degrees too! Furthermore, an accredited university is never a diploma mill. So getting your degree from an accredited university is your safest bet.

What Is University Accredtation

"College accreditation" or "university accreditation" is a consistent and periodical review the quality of the education programs offered to students by the higher education institutions. This is an assurance process so as to ensure the standard and the quality of the institution and its programs on offer is maintained and upheld. Such review, appraisal, assessment and examination is undertaken by the education ministry itself or by an appointed and approved agency of the ministry. In the US, however, the accreditation is done by associations of creditors.
