Accreditation Information of colleges and universities Outside the United States

If you are a student outside the states and want to find out more about college accreditation, contact your country's education department. Each country has its own education standard. For instance, Malaysian universities are govered by the Malaysian Ministry of Education and accredited by LAN. Whilst the qualifications from the Australian universities are within the Australian Qualifications Framework.

If you are thinking of signing up for a degree program which is not based in your home country, then contact your country’s governing body to request for more information. These are some of the countries' education authoritative websites you may browse to get the information on college accreditation:

For Australian degrees: Department of Education, Science and Training.

For NZ degrees, New Zealand Qualification Authority.

And, for UK Degrees, Department of Education and Skills, UK.

It’s always best to do your homework to avoid ending up with a worthless degree. Get advice from the list of Education Departments Outside the US on college accreditation.

If you'd like more information about college accreditation/approval in your country, then contact the respective education authority from this list.

Alternatively, you may want to browse and find out more information about your prospective university or institution of higher education from the online databases made available by the International Association of Universities, the UNESCO-based worldwide association of higher education institutions.
